Solutions

Six areas that rarely stand alone. Packaging shapes the flow, the flow shapes automation, assets create data. NEXWRKS works across all of them, independent of any manufacturer or technology.

Where each area acts

Every solution touches part of the same chain. The bar next to each area below shows which layers it works on.
  1. 01ProductsWhat has to be made, protected, moved or sold.
  2. 02PackagingHow products travel, stack, get handled and return.
  3. 03Material FlowHow goods move through plants, docks, warehouses and stores.
  4. 04AssetsCrates, pallets, cages, equipment and other circulating assets.
  5. 05DataIdentification, tracking and information generated by those assets and processes.
  6. 06TechnologySystems that use the information: integration, computer vision, automation, robotics.
  7. 07OperationsWhere everything ultimately has to perform: cost, speed, availability and control.

Reusable Transport Packaging

The right container for the product, the route and the return.

Reusable packaging has to suit what it carries, how it is handled, the vehicles it travels in and the loop that brings it back. NEXWRKS defines that requirement, then selects or develops the right packaging and connects you with the manufacturers and suppliers able to deliver it.

NEXWRKS is not a packaging manufacturer and is not tied to one. The role is to determine the right solution and connect you to the right manufacturing and supply ecosystem.

  • Plastic crates
  • Foldable crates
  • Totes

Product Development & Manufacturing

From concept to a product that can be made, sold and supported.

Every decision in product development constrains the next: geometry, tooling, material, process, supplier, cost and route to market. NEXWRKS manages that sequence and qualifies the manufacturers who carry it, in Europe and internationally.

Circular Systems & Recycling

Keep assets and materials in use, then recover what they are worth.

Reusable systems only stay viable when assets are recovered, inspected, repaired and eventually recycled in a controlled way. NEXWRKS designs those loops around the actual flows of the operation and the residual value of the material.

  2. 02 Track
  3. 03 Recover
  4. 04 Inspect
  5. 05 Reuse

  7. 07 Recycle
  8. 08 Replace
Asset and material loop

Areas

  • End-of-life asset recovery
  • Plastics recycling
  • Recycled PP and PE
  • Local and regional recycling
  • Closed-loop systems
  • Recycled-content products
  • Residual material value
  • Fleet replacement programmes
  • Sustainability optimisation

Questions it answers

  • What happens to damaged or end-of-life assets?
  • Can recovered material go back into new products?
  • When is repair worth it, and when is replacement?
  • How should a fleet be renewed over time?

Asset Intelligence & Traceability

Technology selected according to the application.

Each tracking technology answers a different question at a different cost. The work starts with what needs to be known (where, how often, at what level of detail) and the technology follows from that. NEXWRKS is not tied to any one tracking technology.

What do you need to know?
  • QR (fits this question)Printed or moulded code, read when scanned. Lowest cost per asset; needs a person or camera at the point of reading.
  • RFID (fits this question)Passive tags read in bulk at gates or with handhelds, without line of sight.
  • BLEBattery-powered beacons, located by gateways or phones within a site.
  • GPSOutdoor position. Needs power and a way to report.
  • CellularReports position and status over mobile networks, without local infrastructure.
  • Embedded ID (fits this question)Identification moulded or integrated into the asset at manufacture.
  • Parent-childTrack the carrier, identify what it carries. Fewer active devices for the same visibility.
Indicative. The final choice depends on volumes, cost per asset, environment and the systems already in place.

Technologies

  • QR
  • RFID
  • BLE
  • GPS
  • Cellular
  • Embedded identification
  • Parent-child tracking models

Applications

  • Crates, pallets and containers
  • Equipment
  • Reusable assets
  • Material flow
  • Return logistics
  • Loss reduction
  • Utilisation monitoring
  • Location visibility

Operational Digitalisation & Integration

Connecting physical operations with digital intelligence.

What happens on a shelf, at a dock or along a route is often invisible to the systems that plan it. Computer vision, digital execution tools and integration with ERP, WMS and SFA systems close that gap, when they are fitted to how the operation really runs.

From the physical operation to an operational decision

Solutions

  • Computer vision
  • Shelf recognition
  • Planogram compliance
  • Price verification
  • Out-of-stock detection
  • Promotion compliance
  • Workflow digitisation
  • ERP / WMS / SFA integration
  • Data visibility
  • Operational reporting
  • Digital execution tools

The physical starting point

  • What is actually on the shelf
  • Whether the price and promotion are right
  • What the field team did, and when
  • What the systems believe versus what is there

Material Flow, Intralogistics & Automation

Automate where it creates value, not simply because automation exists.

Before a robot is specified, the flow has to be understood: volumes, routes, handling units, peaks and exceptions. Sometimes the answer is AMRs or automated transport. Sometimes it is a better layout, or a different container.

Flow first: routes, volumes and handling units, before the equipment is chosen

Solutions

  • Material-flow optimisation
  • Warehouse process improvement
  • Conveyors
  • AMRs
  • Robotics
  • Automated transport
  • Internal logistics
  • Picking support
  • Warehouse automation
  • ERP / WMS / RCS integration

What gets looked at first

  • Volumes, peaks and exceptions
  • Routes and travel distances
  • Handling units and containers
  • Where people add value and where they only walk

How every engagement runs

The same six steps apply whether the requirement is a crate, a recycling loop or a robot.

Understand

The starting point is your requirement, not a product range. What has to work better, for whom, and how will you know it does?

What needs to work better?

Product, packaging, process, site or fleet. Tell us what is happening today and what needs to improve.

You do not need to know which product, supplier or technology you need. You need to know what needs to work better. NEXWRKS works out the rest.
